Full residential property service
We act for clients who are:
- Buying or selling their homes
- Investing or selling buy-to let property
- Dealing with existing tenancy arrangements
- Buying property for investment
- Looking to extend a lease on a property
How long will it take?
An average sale or purchase, from the time an offer is accepted will take an average of 8 – 10 weeks.
The process can be quicker or slower, depending on who else in in the chain. For example, if the buyer or seller hasn’t got a mortgage offer then that will take extra time. Sometimes if there is a new build buyer in the chain, that can mean the process takes a bit longer.
Leasehold transactions can take a while; for example, if there is a lease that needs an extension or if the details of the lease are not easily available.
When you get in touch with us, we will be able to give you more specific guidance on how long your sale or purchase might take.
Disputes
Sadly, sometimes you will have disputes relating to your property, which might be connected to covenants, rights of way or boundary issues. If you are in a dispute, we have a specialist property litigation service which can help you resolve your issue.
Competitive Fees
Our fees are very competitive. We will provide you with a fixed fee quote at the outset of the transaction. If for any reason, your transaction does not proceed to completion we will charge you a discounted rate with respect to our fees.
